HCME presents new electric model and Premium Rental programme at IRE

Hitachi Construction Machinery (Europe) NV (HCME) will showcase its new zero-emission ZX85-6EB excavator at this year’s International Rental Exhibition on 6-8 June at Maastricht MECC, The Netherlands.

On display on stand 2730, the new eight-tonne model has been designed to improve safety for operators, increase productivity and reduce life-cycle costs. As well as zero exhaust emissions, it delivers lower noise levels, enhanced efficiency and exceptional performance – as well as fewer maintenance requirements and less downtime than conventional diesel models.

In addition, HCME will present the benefits of the Hitachi Construction Machinery Premium Rental programme to visitors of the show. It currently offers a fleet approximately 1,000 machines, giving customers access to the latest models and technologies, including our full range of excavators from Mini up to Mining and ZW-7 wheel loaders. Recently expanded to the Baltic countries, the successful rent-to-rent programme involves almost 40 of HCME’s European dealers.

“Using our Premium Rental equipment gives customers the high levels of reliability and quality they would expect from dealing directly with the Hitachi Construction Machinery brand,” says HCME Rental Manager Rene Danielsson. “In addition, they receive a first-class service from HCM factory-trained technicians, and the machines are a perfect fit with HCM attachments and digital solutions to offer greater flexibility and meet the varying demands of their businesses.”

“This year is the first time that the IRE has been held since 2017, due to the pandemic, so we are really looking forward to meeting rental customers in Maastricht, and discussing how our new electric models and rental solutions can meet their needs,” he adds.
