At the exhibition ROTAIR will reveal its newly launched MDVN32B and MDVN52ECO5 portable air compressors, meeting the rental sector’s need for sub-750kg portable air compressors with lower emissions.
ROTAIR’s stand 2312 will also include examples of the company’s efficient portable air compressors specifically designed for the fibre optic cable laying industry, as well as its range of ‘Rampicar’ mini-dumpers and hydraulic breakers.

The MDVN32B petrol portable air compressor
ROTAIR’s new MDVN32B is a 40HP petrol engine portable air compressor can deliver 3200 litres/min at a constant 7 bar, within NRMM Stage V parameters. The performance, on the other hand, is equal if not superior, to diesel Stage V engines, with significant savings on product purchase price. An optional generator can also be accommodated within the units’ architecture – ensuring the same efficient footprint and ease of use. On the same machine layout, a model with electric motor is also available (, delivering 3400 litres/min at constant 7 bar. MDVN52ECO5 with inbuilt aftercooler
MDVN52ECO5is an example of ROTAIR’s comprehensive MDVN range of portable air compressors for standard and air-critical applications. Ideally suited to the rental sector, the unit weighs less than 750kg, according to the European road homologation criteria requiring full unit including fluids to weigh less than 750kg.
VRK Fibra Plus is a compact, portable air compressor specifically conceived, designed and manufactured for ‘last mile’ fibre optic cable laying. The compact design is extremely maneuverable, easy to lift and transport. The compressor also features a condensate separator as well as single or double cooler depending on air temperature demand. These features, with different pressures, serve also other specialistic air-critical applications.
